About Christine

Founder of ViralVA

I was a teacher for 9 years! When my first son was about 10 months old, my husband sent me a video of him clapping for the first time. At that moment I knew I had to get home because our kids are ONLY YOUNG ONCE!!! I spent the next four years trying to find the right career to get me home, give me more time with my family, and not take a pay decrease. FINALLY I found virtual assistant work.

Common Questions

What is a virtual assistant?

Busy entrepreneurs and business owners hire virtual assistants to do remote services and help them get tasks done. This can be tasks such as scheduling meetings, writing emails, creating social media posts, record keeping, and really ANYTHING that is online and techy! You can enjoy working with different businesses at the same time. Virtual assistants can get paid hourly or monthly but you’re not considered an “employee”…it’s called freelance work. You get to be your own boss, pick your hours, and decide your pay. I love the freedom this provides!

How much can a virtual assistant make?

I have one client that pays me $2000 a month for running their social community. As you stack clients, you can have 10K plus months. It all comes down to how many hours you want to work and how much you want to charge. That’s the beauty of this business. You are the boss! You choose your hours and pay.

Virtual assistant work... full time, part time, or side gig?

I made virtual assistant work my full time job within just 2 weeks!  I get paid more than my teaching salary and only work 3-4 hours a day!  Basically I work “part time” but get paid with a “full time” salary.  This can be your full time job, part time job, or side gig.  If you are looking for a dependable side gig, where you don’t have to sell products and the company is NOT taking a big cut, this is the perfect role for you!

How do I become a virtual assistant?

You literally wake up and say, “I am a virtual assistant.”  LOL…but basically!  You don’t need a degree to become a virtual assistant. You need to know how to go about getting hired as a virtual assistant and go all in. Learn all about virtual assistant work, what roles would be best for you, learn the skills, create a resume, learn the right places to find jobs, apply, rock your discovery call (interview), get paid upfront, and do a good job. The best way to get started is to learn from someone that has already been there and done that!
